Intended as a title sequence for the 1985 Japanese comedy film and “ramen western” Tampopo, this stop-motion piece, like the film, is a celebration of food, color and simply, life. Composed in the middle of the 19th century, Franz Liszt’s Les Préludes works in harmony with the motion of the pictures as well as the hand-drawn typeface.
Created as part of a project at the Savannah College of Art and Design towards my Master of Arts in Motion Media Design, 2021.
